In Tel Aviv, approximately 100,000 demonstrators gathered in the city center late on Saturday to voice their strong opposition to the proposed judicial changes initiated by Netanyahu’s cabinet, the Arab 48 reported.
Channel 13, the Zionist regime’s television network, reported that the protest in Tel Aviv was the largest of its kind in over six months.
Thousands of Israelis also gathered in the occupied al-Quds and in Haifa.
In the occupied al-Quds, a crowd of at least 85,000 people assembled in front of the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, to express their disapproval of the proposed judicial changes.
The protesters erected makeshift tents, signifying their commitment to maintaining a continuous presence outside the Knesset in the coming days as a vote on the controversial bill nears.
The protest organizers estimated that around 550,000 people participated in the widespread demonstrations across the occupied Palestine on Saturday evening.
Netanyahu’s cabinet intends to pass the judicial changes before the start of the summer recess in late July.
Critics argue that Netanyahu seeks to exert control over the judiciary and weaken the judges in favor of his cabinet.
However, experts say the continued demonstrations in the occupied territories have turned into protest against the very existence of the Zionist regime.
